As you can see, they have a busy plan ahead and are now crowd funding their project via an ICO.
So why have I invested in this ICO?
well..... I have been disillusioned with today's education system for some time now. Schools teach subjects that are neither helpful or practical in life, wasting precious learning time when students could be being taught life skills and important things like how tax works etc. Of course the government probably don't really want you to know how tax works early on, keeping us in the dark keeps them in front.
As time has gone on and particularly in the tech world, more and more people are self taught professionals, that haven't attended a college or university, but rather took an interest, hobby etc and turned it into a profession. Many people learn things from YouTube and other tutorials and examples given by individuals that stand them in good stead for a task or role they want to complete.
LiveEDU takes the searching out of finding the educational content you need, removing the 100s of "wannabe professionals" from the loop and providing a platform full of content that is produced by people that do actually know what they are doing and know how to provide that information in a way that can be useful.
So, I have invested into this ICO as I believe it will make a difference in the way we view education in the future and will take the "YouTube Graduate" phenomena and turn it into something acceptable and tangible in the real world.
