Stable cryptocurrencies : BitUSD, USDT, Bit20, VIVA, HERO, X8.

As a new crypto user, I was impressed by the volatility of cryptos.
I made some (very small) profits from the ups and downs of Ether and I was looking for a stable currencies to store my profits when I was thinking about what will be my next investment.

Today, I am preparing the Solar coach ICO, and I see another interest to use a stable crypto. During the first phase of the Solar coach pre-launch, 1 TOPSOL is sold for 1 BTS. But the price of BTS has dropped from $0.30 to $0.11 during this period of time.

Not very easy to plan anything when your token is so volatil. So I am looking into stable crypto for the ICO starting October 1st.

• BitUSD from bitshares is a first king of a stable crypto, because it is peg to the US Dollar. The USD is not really stable, but it is a big improvement compare to Bitcoin or Ether. The main limit is that you need a Bitshares account to buy it. I do not expect a crash of the USD before the end of the Solar coach ICO, November 30th.:)

• USD Tether is another crypto peg to the USD. It is available on most of the large exchange like Bittrex, and the liquidity of this token on the Bittrex market is excellent. You can buy USDT from any major crypto at any time.

• SBD (Steem Back Dollar) was an attempt to make a stable crypto, but the market rised, apparently, nobody was able to stop the rising of SBD (or everybody took advantege of it!). SBD can no longer be classified has a stable crypto.

• The approch made by Bittwenty is quite interesting. It is a mix of the 20 most important crypto. The experience show that most of the crypto are driven by Bitcoin, when bitcoin is down, everybody goes down the slope too.

• VIVA coin has the ambitious objective to pay a redistribution to people savings their wealth in VIVA coin. So the VIVAconomy need a stable crypto. The peg of VIVA was first set to $5.30. One month ago, the management decided to rise the peg to $10 +- 10% and the peg is rising every week from $6 to $10.

  Not the caracteristic of a stable crypto, for the next few months.

• A new stable crypto was launched in July, the HERO, the HERO is peg to the USD + 5 % per year. The most interesting with this experiment is the fact that @stan has decided to make a nonprofit benefit from the increase of the HERO. This is the Billionair hero campaign

• X8 is a most recent project based on artificial intelligence. A mix of 8 fiat + crypto +gold is providing the value of a new crypto that could become a real reference for all other currencies. The X8 ICO starts September 14th and you can download the white paper here.

More important that the stability is the aim of a new token.
You cannot expect stability in a society that will have to face the end of cheap oil and climate change, both at the same time.
