Thanksgiving crypto

So I am newish to the whole crypto world, my good friend Sean Morley aka Val Venis introduced me to steemit. I love the fact that it is decentralized and your posts can actually make you money instead of the site making money off your posts like other social media sites! So today I have got steem going along with mining Bitcoin on the laptop and have nice has running mining monero. My question to you is...what is your favorite crypto and why? What problem does it solve?
