Transfering crypto with Whatsapp? Why not to use a decentralized app (Dapp)?

in #crypto6 years ago

According to Cointelegraph, Facebook is developing a cryptocurrency for transfers in Whatsapp.

Millions of users use Whatsapp. It is a huge market to monetize.

However, these big tech companies probably will not share their revenue but Steemit has the potential to share its value among users.

Instead of giving more power to big tech companies, is better to support decentralized projects, in my humble opinion.

For that reason, I'm still using @partiko , a clean, elegant and convenient mobile app that enable interactions among steemit users.

Although it can't transfer crypto (at least for now), it has a strong commitment to deliver a valuable service to users.

There are other interesting Dapps in this blockchain. The user @therealwolf has made Steemapps , a website with a directory of apps built for the STEEM blockchain.

As you can see, more people is engaging in the quest for decentralization. This path is not free of obstacles but I hope it brings with results for the people.
