Facebook, MailChimp, Google, Twitter Bans on Crypto Fueling the Demand for DAPPs

While many are panic selling in response to the big internet companies’ bans on cryptos, the wise look for the opportunities. Remember this space is disruptive for a reason because it is decentralized. Governments can make threats (which it can’t afford to enforce) and big corporates can push social paternalism down our throats if we continue to be beholden to using their services, products, and devices. As the great band Rush says in The Temples of Syrinx “We've taken care of everything, the words you hear, the songs you sing, the pictures that give pleasure to your eyes”.

If you step back and realize what is happening we can see the great opportunity their resistance to change is providing us if we as entrepreneur pick up the banner that lays before our feet. Their resistance is fueling the demand for decentralized applications to replace them. We don’t have to be spoon fed by what the Priests of Syrinx have “taken care of” for us. Jesus says in Mark 12:17 “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s…”. Well if don’t own or rely on things that are “Caesars” then we have nothing to render them.
