ASUS and The Cryptocurrencies

The Taiwanese technology company, ASUS, shows their desire to enter the world of cryptocurrencies by calling gamers to mine cryptocurrencies at times when they are not playing video games.

ASUS points out that in this way users can mine using the graphic cards of the brand and in turn charge the profits by Paypal or WeChat, this due to the partnership with a blockchain technology provider called Quantumcloud.

To date it is not known that cryptocurrencies can be mined using these graphics cards, but what is known is that the entire operation complies with GDPR (General Dara Protection Regulation), so Quantumcloud does not store important information from its customers.

Another detail that has not been mentioned is whether both companies ASUS and Quantumcloud will receive part of the profits of what the users generate, nor has it established how much the gamers can earn.

In this sense, the Quantumclod website clarifies to the gamers that although they can generate easy profits with active processing cards, they should not have the expectation of becoming millionaires in a short time either.

Likewise, they clarify in the press release that users are not guaranteed any profit, and that each one of them must also assume their own costs of use.

Other opinions add that ASUS is not the only company trying to mix in the world of mining and cryptocurrencies in general, in fact it is thought that they were late compared to others in their competition.

Example of this is AMD, company that launched an explanatory page with only blockchain technology content. Finally, this turned out to be a market strategy to encourage people to buy mining hardware.
