Country Issued Crypto The Path to Adoption?
Countries around the globe are poised to make government-issued cryptocurrencies with the first going to benefit from adoption the most.
News has come that several countries are trying to make and implement their own cryptocurrencies back by the official currencies operational in the state.
To date the countries that have expressed they are implementing they're own cryptocurrency are: Ecuador, China, Senegal, Singapore, Tunisia, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, and Turkey initially the tokens will be back to the FIAT currently circulating this will be a massive advantage if you live in these states as you will never have to cash your currencies backed to FIAT.
But, These aren't the only countries trying to make it in the crypto world with Estonia, Japan, Palestine, Russia, and Sweden stepping up to launch their national cryptocurrencies.
One of the main pieces of news coming through is that China is looking to implement their digital currency as the stand-alone currency of China and abolishing printed money but China has a very weird take on the crypto by banning it but not officially banning it as most of the global mining pools are located in the country.
But is centralized government-issued currencies the way forward?
Any of the big names in the crypto space would tell you it goes totally against what Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were designed to do with one of the main points being against government-issued cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies weren't supposed to be centralized and under the control of the governments so they can limit, monitor and stop you accessing your own funds at a click of a button.
They were designed to give you access to your funds not controlled by any kind of governance and the freedom to spend and send it too whoever you want.
but my thoughts are government-issued digital currencies will somewhat legitimize the space opening up for more investors who have been sitting at the sidelines waiting but who knows what the future will bring and what the true intentions of the governments are.
But I can guarantee one thing, Bitcoin will never die.
