Vechain Signs A Partnership With Lingang International Manufacturing Exhibition Trading Center

In collaboration with Lingang Group, VeChain signs a partnership with Lingang International Manufacturing Exhibition Trading Center at the 2018 Blockchain & Industry Convergence Development Forum.

The 2018 Blockchain & Industry Convergence Development Forum and the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center Blockchain Research Lab Establishment Conference were held in Shanghai on May 25th, 2018. The conference aims to nurture blockchain innovation for industrial applications. VeChain COO, Kevin Feng, was invited and attended as an honorary speaker of this event.

More importantly, at this event, VeChain held a collaboration signing ceremony with Liangang International Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Trading Center. Lingang International Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Trade Center is owned and operated by Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co., Ltd.

Lingang Group is a large state-owned enterprise directly held by the Shanghai State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. They are the largest company in that focuses on investment, development and operation of industrial parks and related supporting services in the park for the area. Lingang Group serves as the government administrator in their development zones employing over 400,000 people, registering over 8,300 enterprises to their zones, and creating a GDP over 7,400 Billion RMB.

This partnership enables VeChain to be continuously featured in the technology trading platform showcasing the technological innovations backed by the Eastern China Tech Transfer Center and the government of Shanghai Lingang. The Lingang International Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition and Trade Center was established by the Lingang District Development and Construction Management Committee and the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center to mobilize global innovation resources, open up the “last mile” of scientific and technological achievements, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements. .

Shanghai’s Lingang Area is rapidly working to become an international smart manufacturing center and is building five platforms for things such as research and development and technological innovation.

The collaboration with Lingang Group will expedite the reach and development of the VeChainThor Platform for the foreseeable future. Through its partnership with Liangang International Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Trading Center, the VeChainThor Blockchain will be established on a commercial level alongside events to facilitate knowledge transfer with organizations, both inside and outside of governmental industries, tapping into any new inspiration for added technological innovations and applications.
