The Cuchoo Vs Warbler

If humanity is struggling to figure out why some of us are aware of our lock down and others are in denial, maybe the animal kingdom can help us unlock the mystery.
When the Warbler bird leaves her nest, the Cuchoo Bird rushes in and deposits her egg, but not before making room for the new unwanted arrival. Once the Cuchoo chick is hatched it's too late for the Warbler, and they continue feeding the chick until its grown and on its merry way.
The vast majority of people of the world are unaware of the parasites that have hijacked their freedom, but unlike the Warbler Bird, a minority of us humans are very aware of our imprisonment, and are devoted to waking the slumbering majority up.
