The END OF TOR IS NEAR - MaidSafe to Rule the Dark Web
With all the recent vulnerabilities spotted in Tor one can only wonder how long people will continue to use it. Some of the major vulnerabilities spotted was that JavaScript, Plug-ins, and other applications can leak your IP, and that even running an Exit Node can put you at risk. So this is not good news for Tor supporters who thought they are invisible.
Well luckily they will have a much better alternative soon as decentralized Internet leaders MaidSafe created a SAFE network which allows all the Internet services of today to be fully decentralized. A crowd sourced Internet that uses advanced p2p technology and the computing power of Safe users to create a global safe network. Removing all the weaknesses of privacy, security and anonymity such as servers and other central points of current day Internet.
The impact of this would mean for the first time ever NO one will have a clue who you are or what you are doing where, true anonymity where no government or agency can shut the platform down as long as there is still Internet. Although the network is not released yet they are claiming that it should be released as soon as all tests and bugs are sorted out. Yes, and at this rate we'll only have to wait for the 31st century for the SAFE network to be finally released.
It's a big project so they cannot afford any screw ups or platform glitches. I would rather wait longer and have it work safely and correctly than launch it with bugs. It will be worth the wait...I promise
Good to see some MaidSafe guys here I am pleased about that. I have been following MaidSafe developement for 2-3 years now. When it comes out it is going to be loud that is for sure! :)

I've been waiting for this for some time myself.. Far as I know it's usable now but a real pain to setup. I like the idea behind Steemit because people who know nothing about Crypto are finally getting in. I think that when MaidSafe is ready then Steemit should run on that network or come up with it's own decentralized DNS scheme because governments will try to shut it down any way they can. Central banks don't like competing currencies..
Same here : ) for me, the biggest obstacle for MaidSafe would be get major players to use the SAFE network...if they manage to achieve this I can only see a bright future for them and all the whales that have been stocking up on their collection.
