The world's longest non-stop flight is going on
The distance from Singapore to New York is about 16 thousand kilometers. The longest non-stop flight in the world is going to start this way. It takes about 19 hours to cross the distance. Long Airlines Singapore Airlines is going to launch direct flights to this route.
Singapore Airlines has taken their new Airbus A350-900 ULR (Ultra Long Range) to move from Singapore to New York on a nearly 19-hour flight.
A Singapore Airlines spokesman said that the first commercial flight will be operated on 11 October from Singapore's New York Liberty International Airport from Singapore. It will be the first journey of seven A350-900 ULRs bought from Airbus.
Earlier this time Singapore Airlines flew the flights. But at that time the route was not a suitable operating plane. Airbus A380 started the first commercial activity on the way. Then it was closed. The flight will be restarted with the Airbus A350-900 ULR.
Airbus Plane has been specially designed for the longest route in the world. The new airplanes can fly for 20 hours. The Bloomberg report says the planes will fly 16 thousand 700 kilometers and it will take 18 hours and 45 minutes. It has 67 seats in Business Class and 94 seats in Economy Class. The aircraft is a separate 350-bit version of the original, which uses the converted fuel system. It can take 1 lakh 65 thousand liters of fuel.
