RE: Bitcoin Unlimited Won't Ever Be The "Bitcoin", Exchanges Vow / MelonPort on Kraken / Much More!

Its hard to see BU or SegWit activating anytime soon. The flippening is happening. ETH has almost same $ volume as BTC. Staking will drive ETH to $200 before the release of Casper. Great to see Steemit up 200%!

Bitcoin Unnecessary is what should scare Bitcoiners more than Bitcoin Unlimited.

Bitcoin Obsolete - 15 min. block times, $5 plus in transaction fees, volatile currency with miners easily switching to Monero or another alt once Bitcoin becomes unprofitable. Two main problems with Bitcoin: Most miners sell coins immediately to pay for electricity cost (no long term stake) and a huge governance problem that Bitcoin has done absolutely nothing to solve. Staking coins like Steem, soon to be ETH or hybrid staking models with built in governance models are winning the race. Scalability and user friendly is critical for mass adoption none of which Bitcoin solves nor will it solve in the next 1-2 years it ever. I believe the Bitcoin protocol is frozen in time. Only a price crash would wake up miners but even then they just switch to mining another more profitable alt coin. Its a lose lose for Bitcoin and a win win for coins like Steem, Ethereum and Dash.
