steemit could grow much quicker if there things like bounties and referral bonuses on offer.......perhaps they just want it to grow naturally...
Getting more people on board is like a referral system. You will notice the people that have been on this platfrom longer make the most!
Welcome aboard and once steemit has millions of users companies are going to pay to be on the site.
Organic growth is natural ... if you force it, it will die early.

Technology advances at its own pace. The value of Steem and Bitcoin are the blockchains upon which they are built. Both are part of the cryptocurrency arena which is going to change a lot of things. Industries are started to be upended as I write this.
We are going to see exponential growth in this area, with or without the promotion. The fact that guys like Dimon are attacking bitcoin tells us all we need to know...he fears it and realizes it will upend his business.
Yes I agree with promotion and touting the benefits of steemit. However, it is something that cant be held down. People will find it regardless as work spreads. I joined about 5 weeks ago and there are already 70,000 people who joined after me. That is incredible growth.
