Could China's ICO ban be related to North Korea's nuclear test?
As we know, North Korea just did a provocation by testing a hydrogen bomb. This event happened almost immediately before China banned ICOs. It could be that China is concerned about money laundering and the threat that North Korea could be behind some of these ICOs? Is this a conspiracy theory? What do you all think?
I don't see the link?? If China wanted to shut down trade with Korea it could easily do it through traditional banking channels.
Crypto is not what NK is using for financing.
I suppose if China did shut down traditional banking links and international transfers into NK, that NK might turn to cryptos as the next way to finance their projects.
I think they're related in so far as that China doesn't want extreme capital flight if the U.S. halts trade with them. This was a Trump threat during his campaign and the "North Korean problem" would be a great pretext for doing it.
Let's see if he pulls the trigger.
Sure, North Korea is planning to launch an ICO for funding their arsenal with a new Ethereum token called Nukecoins. Nukecoins will be swapped for territory on the conquered countries and top 100 contributors will also get an entrance for the most exclusive nuclear bunker of North Korea.

The deals offered to China are:
Agree to a better trade deal with the US and US will deal with North Korea plus US will back China in disputed Bhutan region.
Don't agree to a better trade deal then China deals with North Korea and US will back India over disputed Bhutan region.
IMHO anyway...
Thanks for the post.

Interesting, I doubt the U.S. really cares at all about this, but it would be an interesting bargaining chip to use with China.
Hmmm, an interesting take and something to keep an eye on.
Thanks for sharing this information @dana-edwards ...Blessings
Thanks for the video's Great share. Following you. I'm new on steemit.
Cryptocurrency is officially in a blood bath. China is definitely playing a huge part in it all. I really hope North Korea and the USA can come to a positive conclusion and fast ! Great post.
Do not believe it
Do North Koreans actually have money (and if so, are they allowed to use it)?
