Thanks for the comment, and always being so encouraging, vizual!
always bro! the future is bright!
@crypt0 In this post I examine why the UAHF is probably going to cause a short squeeze on Bitcoin this weekend leading into next week. You can make money on this, but it will be risky.
Why the $BCC Fork Will Cause a Short Squeeze in Bitcoin That Affects You
Thanks for the update Omar :D
Anytime, for you, coincravings- you're most welcome!
Nice bro.
Thanks, my man :D
Keep up the good work Omar. Love these vids!
I'm gladdened more than you might realize to hear you say that, mattf- thanks for the support! I'll certainly keep trying to bring you the good content :)
I'm confused. Isn't Btc locked in? So any other btc fork will be rejected? Also BCC. Is bitconnect. I would think bitconnect would be worth more than Bitcoin cash after Aug 1
A fork can't be rejected if people are heavily using it, and technically anyone could fork any crypto-currency... where do you think most ShitCoins come from mate?
I agree you can make any coin but it won't be Bitcoin
Also new coin that is $900 ?
If the market thinks the coin will be worth $900, it will be priced at $900
That i agree :)
Hey Omar, enjoying your posts. Yes, the possibility of HF and losing coins made me take the big step of ordering a Trezor to move off of Coinbase. Now to figure out how to set it up!
good job @crypt0
I always said communist China would destroy Bitcoin... and now their chance has finally come.
Bitcoin Cash will become the main fork due to China's dominance in hashing power, and Bitcoin itself will be dead.
Such a shame really... but China is the very best at currency manipulation, so it was only a matter of time.
The miners will mine what will give them the biggest return... so if no one is willing to buy bitcoin cash, nobody will mine it...
Even though China does have approx 60% of the hashing power, I doubt if Jihan / PBOC could cajol them all into supporting a China-only altcoin, but maybe that has been their plan all along. Whatever... let them do it. The remaining 40% hashpower is still signif and a lot of mining hardware that has been mining shitcoins of late will flow back to BTC. Very quickly we'll be more decentralized. Why would they give up so much control? ViaBTC may mine BCC as an PBOC experiment or whatever it is, but the majority of Chinese hashpower very likely to mine the main Core chain.
IMO if Bitcoin consensus isn't robust enough to deal with a defection then we'll have to do some tweaking. The technology of eliminating the double-spend problem has been made and we're not going back.
much needed update! most of us who don't have the chance to go to such an insightful event need this.
props to @crypt0
Hard at work, thanks @crypt0
