The Cryptoverse; Bitcoin Drops Below $2,000; Red, Dark Red, & More Red
Alright my fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The current market conditions are in a major state of volatility. This is pretty obvious if you take a look at the top 10 coins by market capitalization, we see that:
- Bitcoin drops to a low of $1987.57 on a Top 10 exchange
- Overall market cap hits low of $72,066,100,000
- Bitcoin dominance is creeping up to previous levels, currently at 46.2%
Bitcoin dominance is important because there are nearly 1,000 digital assets/currencies in the market and a higher Bitcoin dominance percentage indicates less capital across those other assets as compared to Bitcoin market cap. As you can see in the chart above, Bitcoin dominance dropped to a low of 37.24% and currently sits at around 46.2%.
