‘Crypto Genius’ James Altucher Seeks $280 Million Valuation for Blockchain Startup Bitzumi
“Crypto genius” James Altucher is back, and he’s got big plans.
Altucher, the so-called “face of Bitcoin,” and his company, Bitzumi, are seeking to raise $10 million to launch a full-service blockchain startup that will, among other things, feature a cryptocurrency exchange.

Ellen DeGeneres Is ‘Down With’ Bitcoin
If there was any doubt that bitcoin is making its way into the mainstream, Ellen DeGeneres has just dispelled those myths. Telling her audience that she’s ‘down with’ bitcoin, Ellen used her comedic talent to describe bitcoin by comparing the top cryptocurrency to a goat and even talking BTC price. She used her ability to communicate with the masses to explain how in her quest to learn more about bitcoin seemingly turned her into a fan.

hah... uh, no, it's blockchain... It's a protocol that allows miners to compete in a race to complete a predetermined hash rule. It's built on the idea that the community controls the ledger in a decentralized manner. No banks needed.
