There were people shorting BTC down to $1-2k.
As part of their game, they were bashing BTC on Coindesk, CCN, ... for months, marking it as Ponzi ...
I wouldn't like to be in their skin now, when things did calm down and we are back on slow upswing.
I bet their EGO suffered even more than their wallets.
He's a little crazy for sure but we can hope hes right. If we see 12k BTC, we'll surely see another bull run over 20k!. Lets hope!

While I generally agree that Bitcoin should benefit in the long term from economic and monetary downturn due to the inflated balance sheets at most Central Banks, be careful to bet the farm on Bitcoin and Cryptos. This caution is because these assets are still considered risky to institutions and wealthy investors so if their bread and butter suffers they will seek to liquidate risky assets to offset risks to their portfolios.
