Spanish Central Bank begins to look at State-Issued-Crypto
Central banks around the world have had generally negative views towards cryptocurrencies. However, the Spanish Central Bank, Banco de Espana (BDE), has just expressed a view that is slightly different. The regulator has released a report in which it states that the use of digital currencies, especially when there is a digital version of the state currency, will Shall improve the monetary policy of the country. It further stated that such currencies could assist in improving the existing financial infrastructure of the nation.
State crypto? It is a move that has been anticipated by the crypto community for some time. In my opinion this is where the real war begins, one that would determine whether we can defend our financial sovereignty.
