The benefits of being son of God.

God loves us and delights in providing help to those who ask Him for it, He desires to help those who seek Him.

21 Then I proclaimed a fast there by the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to ask Him for a safe journey for us, and for our little ones, and for all our possessions. 22 For I was ashamed to ask the king for troops and horsemen to help us from the enemy on the road; for we had spoken to the king, saying, The hand of our God is for good on all who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all who forsake Him. 23 So we fasted and prayed to our God about this, and He was favorable to us.

Ezra 8:21-23

There are people who are sold an Express gospel, something practically magical like what we often read in a self-help book: "the 10 steps to wealth and prosperity." The gospel, God's way, is not about this. In the end, after the experiences of life and following God's advice, we realize that we live the best of this world when we make God our priority. This way, we are willing and receive a lot.

When we seek the Lord with the desire to know Him more and more through His word, we are creating and nurturing a deep relationship of love. All of this leads us to experience unity with God.

13 And you will seek Me and find Me, because you will seek Me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

When we serve God, when we know Him more and more, we begin to live in full satisfaction because God fills our hearts. All of this considerably limits external searches for earthly pleasure or those desires that fade away compared to the fullness we find in the presence of God.

Also as a result of searching for God we find joy even in the midst of the most difficult and adverse circumstances, nothing that happens can take away our joy and peace since these are based on the relationship we have with the Lord and not on the circumstances. God delights in helping us and providing for everything that his children need.

I invite you to make God our priority, to not only learn through what we read about the provision and goodness of God, to make all of this an experience in our lives, to seek God and experience his goodness.
