Hello Teachers,

It's another week here and I'm glad I made it. Please I would like to ask that the video be translated in English language so that we could understand it better. I was almost lost at some point, but I finally tried my best. Learning is a process though.

Below is my homework...

Before the task, I got my materials ready for my work and for this work, I'll be needing;

• Knitting needle
• Yarn 🧶
• Scissors

Task 1: Make a chain of 5 and create a hoop or ring. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the task to be performed.

I sketched my own chain of five so I could work with it. It was easy for me looking at it and making my chain.

• My starting point was to make my chain of five, which must be in place before any other thing.

• To create a ring, I returned my needle back to the staring point where I began the first stitch.

• I finally joined it together by making a stitch.

I wasn't able to prepare a video, but I have pictures to show.

Task 2: Making a half-stitch and cleaning the knitted work. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the work to be done.

• After getting the ring ready, make sure to have a hoop on the needle for work.

• Then, I inserted the needle from the front of the ring, through the center of the ring.

• I wrapped the needle under the thread and held it with the head of the crochet hook.

•Then I took the hook back and inserted it in loop through the ring mentioned in the first point.

This way, I make the "half stitch". I continued this process to complete my knitting, as required by each row.

Now, I had to make the 8 half double crochets, which means that I repeated this process 8 times.

X represent the half stitches

I have prepared a video below to show the process👇

Task 3: Making a half-stitch; first round of 16. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the work to be done

It wasn't so easy accomplishing the task three. I had to study the O and X patterns properly before starting my task. I also watched the video over time to understand all I needed to know.

To make the half stitch first round of 16 I maintained the same process I did previously. It's just to keep adding on the already existing one. I have prepared a video below 👇 although my editor had to upload on shorts.

Task 4: Making a half-stitch; second round of 16. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the task to be performed.

In this task 4, I continued with the same process just as in task 3, continue adding up the stitches until it's complete.

Task 5: Selfie with the work done to show that you did your job.

I have performed my task well, although the journey wasn't an easy one. It took me five hours to get my pictures and videos ready, since I didn't I a help.

I enjoyed the class and I'm glad I could do my stitches. I stand to be corrected in an way, thank you!

Thank you so much!

Greetings dear friend.
Your knitting presentation is very nice and clean . You use five hours to complete your work that means you are not an apprentice, but for me I use almost the whole day to participate in this contest. It was so challenging.

I wish you success in this contest.
