Today, I bring you a how come quickie game. To the best of my knowledge, Les Levine ( a sports presenter on CBS Radio) is the Originator of the “How come quickies”. For the past 25 years, “How Come Quickies” have been a staple of his radio and TV shows.
The only rule is that callers or e-mailers to the show start out by saying or writing “how come,” and then pose the quickie. Preferably they would involve sports, although the prototype is “how come ... you drive in a parkway and park in a driveway?”
Examples of sports quickies would be “how come ... in baseball, the bad hop is always the last one?” Or “how come … if the bases were 91 feet apart instead of 90, there wouldn’t be as many close plays?”
Football quickies would include “how come ... if you go the whole nine yards you would still have to punt on fourth down?” Or “how come ... you can signal for a fair catch, but you can’t signal for a good catch?”

With that in mind, I bring you my “how come quickie” game and these are the rules:

1. Let it be as original as possible
2. Let it be concise and straight to the point.
3. Let it be thought provoking so as to engage readers; they can be funny or ridiculous but not absurd.
4. One write-up should include at least 5 how come quickies and at most 10 so readers can be captivated.
5. Title your “How Come Quickies” #HOWCOMEQS and add the week number sey week 1 so participants can easily locate and vote on your work.

** Note** this is not a game where you hope to win something from me, but rather this is going to enable you to think and bring out original content that will excite steemians and enable you to make some cents hurray...! I hereby begin with my first how come quickies.
