1 Peter 2: 9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired by God, so that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
Sometimes we walk through life without knowing our identity and we do things that far from giving glory to God do the opposite "we are open letters world" and as such we are responsible for what they read in us.
1 Corinthians 11: 1 (NIV)
Imitate me, as I imitate Christ.
The apostle Paul in this passage we see how he exhorts the church in Corinth to imitate him, understanding that he himself was an imitator of Jesus Christ, we see the impact of his life that makes it clear to them how a true Christian (Follower of Christ) should behave through of his example. According to the way we see life we will manage in it, that is, if we see life as a game we will evaluate the different stages and decisions that we make based on winning or losing, if we see it as a race, surely the speed and the adrenaline will be part of our characteristics. We see that later on the church of Philippi the Apostle Paul exhorts them in a similar way by saying:
Philippians 3:17 (NIV)
Brothers, follow all my example, and look at those who behave according to the model we have given them.
However, we see that the latter not only spoke of him, but of those who also behaved according to the example that Jesus himself gave us in his walk on earth. The way of seeing our life will determine our attitudes and our actions remember that the Lord commanded us to walk as children of light.
