In the fifth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), seven teams are participating. The teams are Dhaka Dynamites, Chittagong Virakings, Comilla Victoria, Rangpur Riders, Khulna Titans, Rajshahi Kings and Sylhet Sexters.

On November 4, Sylhet-Dhaka started with the match. The number of matches in this year is 46. First phase, Eliminator, first qualifier, second qualifier and finals will be held at Sher-E-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur. And the number of the venues is three.

In all, the BPL has so far held 18 matches. And domestic cricketers showing the domination of foreigners in the matches. Those who are batting with the bat are the top-ranked batsmen in the list.

In the BPL, Sylhet Sixers batsmen Upul Tharanga are the first in the list. He has scored 207 runs in six matches. It is a matter of pride that in this six innings he has three half-centuries.
