PSL-3: Peshawar Zalmi to launch title defence against Multan Sultans today

PESHAWAR: The third season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will kick off in Dubai today (Thursday).

Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi will face debutants Multan Sultans in the opening match which is scheduled to begin at 10:00pm. The organizers of the event will also arrange a colorful opening ceremony at Dubai Stadium. Eminent singers Shahzad Roy, Ali Zafar, Abida Parveen and some foreign singers will perform on the occasion.

A total of 34 matches will be played in PSL-3. Thirty-one matches will be played in Dubai, while three matches will be played in Pakistan. Two play-off matches will be played in Lahore, while the final will be played in Karachi.
