Virat needs to learn captaincy; match is not won by hot mind

After the England tour, Kohli would have been able to understand why such an Indian captain may have to suffer criticism

In the fifties of the last century, there were very big players in the West Indies, who used to be in the world. Stallmayer, Gomez, Weeks, Warrell, Walcott, followed by Sobers, Hunt, Kanhai, Ramadin, Valentine, Hall, Griffith. Then the West Indies team was full of talented players, but still they were always behind England and Australia in terms of performance. It was believed that these players from different island groups and countries could not play like a team. Then the West Indians were not liberated from the domination of whites, and an invisible distinction between black and white and white players also worked, although there was no clear apartheid policy like South Africa, but even then the rule was that the West Indies Captain can be a blonde. Around 1960, there was a big movement that a black player, Frank Worrell, was made captain. Under the pressure of this movement, Warrail became captain on the 1961 tour.

Such a departure from the foreign team has not happened till today.

Warrell really proved to be a big leader In his captaincy, suddenly the West Indies team was rejuvenated and that Australia became a memorable series of West Indies Cricket Cricket history. When the West Indies team was going back to the end of the series, thousands of Australian citizens stood on the way to the airport and farewell to them. There is no other example of such a grand and emotional farewell to a foreign team. That series started the golden period of West Indies, which will always be recorded in the history of cricket.
The West Indies team lacked talent, but their problem was that they did not play like a team. Warrell taught them to play like a team. It is evident from how powerful Vararel's learning was that if you look after Sobers' appointment as captain then he often talks about his personal accomplishments and then repeatedly mentions that cricket is a collective game and His private records were not possible without the contribution of other players.

Captain's big role
Cricket is a game whose entire strategy cannot be made in the dressing room, nor can the coach stand out of the field like a football and give instructions. Secondly, every step in cricket requires a decision, so the captain's role is very big. In the country playing cricket, the captain of the cricket team is a very big man. Millions of crores of people and media are seen on every step, so its work is of great responsibility.

There is a lot of things to be done in the player for good leadership, including man management so that the players play together as a team and fight with their full strength for the captain.

Not everyone can be Warrell Clearly; every player can not have these qualities. Not everybody can be Frank Worrell or Mike Breairley, so that's also true about other areas of life, we get kind of captains in cricket too. Most captains have little or no qualities, some qualities can be. In the game the captains are made at any age. Twenty-five or twenty-five-year-olds do not have much experience to easily lift the burden of their team and country's hopes. An excellent analysis about captaincy is done by Sanjay Manjrekar in his book "Imprief", where he discusses his own weaknesses like the captain of Mumbai. The equally good analysis is the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin, who was suddenly imposed on captaincy, because the board did not want any strong captain. The references to writing all this are questions raised on Virat Kohli's captaincy after losing 4-1 in England. Kohli too would have been able to understand how such an Indian captain may have to suffer criticism. I found this analysis of Sunil Gavaskar right that Kohli lacks experience, due to which many of his decisions have gone wrong. Kohli has learned many things, since Kohli has been undergoing a lot of changes since the Under-19 era, it can be expected that Kohli can learn from the experience.

No moody mumble

First of all, Kohli needs to realize that not only is the aggressive mindset enough to win. Cold brains are also needed, but cold brains are essential to make decisions on the field. It also does not appear that Kohli makes many decisions on the field. It seems that they have come up with the strategy of the game before the start of the game and are applying it on the field

Unpredictability or surprise is never used like a strategy, even when the match is going out of control. Perhaps out of the "Angry Young Man" image on the Kohli ground, a little more smile and a lot of things can be cured. Even after the completion of his century or the batsman of the front team, it can be happy even if something goes wrong; some mumble like the abuse is just a little bit. Nearly all the great captains in the world were very "cool", Kohli can learn from them. It will be better for them and for all the youngsters and young Indian players who regard Kohli as their ideal.
