England is not doing well in their recent Ashes bid as they only managed 67 runs while, Australia took a major step in their bid to retain the Ashes Test at Headingley.
On the first day of the match, Jofra Archer claimed his maiden Test five-wicket haul. But Australian soon denied England a chance at celebrating as their impressive pace attack ripped through England’s fragile batting order. The battle for the the Ashes is on and will England be getting it or Australia retaining it?
David Warner, took the first of his four catches at first slip against Jason Roy who had a struggling start.
This is the third Ashes test and seeing England collapse again shows that they may be losing their edge against the Australian side who are doing what it takes to retain the Ashes.
The Australians are putting on a very defense for the title and try as they can for a shot, it isn't looking any hopeful for England.
My Thoughts.
I think England won't stand a chance if they do not improve on their game. Australia is doing quite well and they have been putting out some exceptional plays and getting better while their opponent is struggling.
Jofra Archer isn't giving that impressive vibe as is expected from him, although he put out a very outstanding blow against Australia which got some real impact, he needs to improve on his game.
Michael Vaughn and Alistair Cook has also expressed their disappointment at the way things are turning out for England.
