Shakib's shameful defeat after the rain!
The last session of the fourth day yesterday or the first session of the fifth day was expected to end yesterday. But the rain has been batting in favor of Bangladesh since yesterday.
Today, the game begins in the last afternoon after being soaked in rain for almost a whole day. Bangladesh could have drawn the match if they had survived over 18.3. But the batsmen were ashamed of the rain! Shakib & Co. paced Rashid Khan's 173 runs. Afghanistan won by 224 runs.

Today, when the first game started after lunch break on the fifth day, the rain came down again after 13 balls. Bangladesh scored 7 runs in that time. Then the game resumed at 4.20pm. Zaheer Khan was caught behind the wicket by Shakib Al Hasan (44). Mehidi Miraj became LBW for Rashid Khan 12 runs to fight survival.
No gain on reviews. On the return overs, Taizul Islam (1) trapped the Afghan captain for a leg-beating wicket. The victory of the Afghans began when the trusted leg-spinner, Soumya Sarkar (15), was locked up by Ibrahim Jordan.
Liton Das and Sadman Islam started the second innings of Bangladesh on Sunday with a huge target of 398 runs. The start was fairly good, but a 30-run stand began with Zaheer Khan's dismissal with Litton Das (9). Mossaddek Hossain (12), Mushfiqur Rahim (23), Mominul Haque (3), Mahmudullah (7) returned to the three. Opener Sadman tried. Mohammed Nabi stopped his innings of 41 off 114 balls.

Afghan skipper Rashid Khan and Chinese bowler Zaheer Khan led the destruction. Bangladesh finished the fourth day with 136 runs for 6 wickets. If the game did not stop due to rain at 4.40 minutes, perhaps Shakib would have seen defeat tomorrow. Shakib was unbeaten on 39* and Soumya 1*.
Afghanistan were all out for 260 with a 137-run lead. Earlier, Bangladesh were all out for 205 in reply to 342 for Afghans. Bangladesh has a record of chasing a maximum of 215 runs in the fourth innings. Moreover, Bangladesh never chased runs in the fourth innings in Chittagong.
