Preparation for the Twenty20 World Cup begins with a tri-series
The seventh edition of the Twenty20 World Cup will be held in Australia next year. Bangladesh is going to start the Tri-Twenty20 series starting tomorrow with the World Cup in mind.
That's how Bangladesh captain Russell Domingo said at a press conference today. The other two opponents in the tri-series are Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.

Despite performing well in ODI cricket, Bangladesh's performance in the Test and Twenty20 format is not as noticeable. The recent one-match series against Afghanistan has raised the criticism level significantly. So Domingo started his own journey with Bangladesh at a rate.
At the end of the test, Domingo is now ready to wear colored clothes for Bangladesh. Domingo will be the coach of Bangladesh tomorrow in the Twenty20 format. He is planning from now on thinking about the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup. That's why Domingo is starting his journey with the Tri-series.
"I think we should look at the Twenty20 match now," Domingo said at a press conference the day before the tri-series started. Before the World Cup, we will play 3 or 4 matches. So from now on, the World Cup should be planned. Because before the World Cup, we have to improve in some categories and gain as much experience as possible under pressure.'
"Our test record is not that good," he added. So personally, there is a need to work with the team structure. I've thought a lot about moving forward. I am much more optimistic about applying the plans.'
Bangladesh did not play any pace in the only test against Afghanistan. However, it will not be in the Twenty20 format. Because of his thinking about the conditions in Australia, Domingo said of working with the pacers from now on, "It will be a completely different format and play on different conditions and the next World Cup will be in Australia. So from now on we need the Pacers in our squad. I think this is very important. Before the World Cup, we need to play some pace.'
With the tri-series T20 format, favorites are on the way to Afghanistan. But Domingo thinks, 'Bangladesh will also perform well in this time. We want to win in every game. Especially in T20 cricket. Any team can beat any team any day. I can't say for sure we will win tomorrow, but we can say for sure that tomorrow we will give our best performance.'
Domingo has expressed his views on Zimbabwe. "The team is in crisis," he said. However, they need good team performance. It can destroy or even unite a party. They are a part of Africa and I am from South Africa. There is no doubt that Zimbabwe is doing a lot of hard work. This effort will help them to move forward.'
