144 foreign players available for PSL5; Gold category

Lahore: 144 foreign cricketers from 14 countries showed availability for the PSL5 Gold category.

Pakistan Cricket Board releases preliminary list of 144 foreign cricketers included in PSL5 draft Gold category, 48 in England, 40 in West Indies, 19 in Sri Lanka, 10 in Bangladesh, 6 in Afghanistan, Australia and New Zealand. There are 4,4 players from Ireland, South Africa and Zimbabwe, while Canada, the Netherlands, Scotland and the US have one each.

Notable foreign players in the Gold category include Afghanistan's Gulbuddin Deputy, Hazratullah and Mohammad Shahzad, Australia's Bank Docket, Bangladesh's Mehdi Hassan, Musadq Hussain and Taskin Ahmed, English players Chris Wood, Jade Durbanich, Jamie Overton, Joy Clarkton. Toplay, Swat Patel and Saqib Mahmood are included.

Ireland's Paul Stirling, Kevin O'Brien, along with New Zealand's Anton Deutsch and Jatin Patel, South Africa's Vernon Fielder and Wayne Parnell and Sri Lanka's Oishika Fernando, Rajapaksa, Dinesh Chandy Mill, Lahiro Thierry Mane, Lahiro Kamara, Nawa Nadeira Kamara, Nawa Nadeira Zimbabwe's James Taylor, Kyle Jarvis and Alexander Zha, along with Lakmal and Apple Thuringa, Andre Fletcher of the West Indies, Devon Smith, and Kevin Powell.

List of 325 local players in the Gold, Silver and Emerging categories ranked in the National Domestic Season in the First XI, Second XI and U-19 tournaments, with at least 2 Emergers in each of the 16-member squad for the Hernandez. Will not be more than 23 years of age.
