Shahid Afridi is a cricket sensation in whole world and particularly in Pakiatan. He is considered as a devastating batsman since the very start of his carrier as he smashed a century off just 37 balls which was just outstading at that time when test cricket was ruling the world and a century off 37 balls was just supposed to be an illusion. More than anything he hold that record of fastest century for more than 15 years which itself is a record untill Corey Anderson from New Zealand hit a magnificent century off just 36 balls against West Indies at 1st January 2014 in and ODI match which was restricted to just 22 overs.

5th February is celebrated as Shahid Afridi Day in admiration of his services both on and off the field. On cricket field he was an excellent sportsman who has never been accused of any kinda suspicious activity. Apart from being a cricketer he is also a social worker and has formulated an organization Shahid Afridi Foundation with a moto of Hope Not Out. His organization is commited to provide basic health and education facilities to the people in remote areas of Pakistan.
