Baby Quilt

I've started working on a baby quilt for a friend at work whose son and his wife are having their first baby.

Grandma-to-be has asked not to know the sex of the baby, so I'm doing a neutral mix of fabrics in different colours and patterns.

So, the first rough lay-out.

This is just working out if I have enough fabric and how to lay it out. Some of these pieces will change about or be replaced.

After ironing the pieces flat and folding the edges down, I get a clearer idea

These are some fat quarters I have for the reverse side, although I'm considering switching the blue and white Bambi fabric I have at the center of the other side for one of the Peter Rabbit fabrics.
