Plastic house - creativity that wows me.

in #creativity7 years ago

When we talk of creativity, not what everyone does all the time, or what you do repeatedly, but something no one has ever done. Even if anyone had thought of it or did it, but you do it in a different way entirely that seems like a new thing. Defining creativity as I would put it is simply doing something different in a different way, or doing something unusual in an unusual way. Why am I personifying creativity? It's the yardstick with which our intelligence and influence on the community are measured.

Everyone is born with an instinct but how we use it differs. With Eggs I can make a Yam sauce while you can make an omelette from it. We actually use same resource but practically through different processes and methodology. Another person can make something amazing with egg which we both may have never thought of. This is the power of creativity - ability to turn around things, idea etc to a desired uncommon solution.

I was browsing through my facebook blog and I found something that caught my attention so much.

PLASTIC HOUSE

From this invention i got to understand that nothing is to be tag as "waste" . When we buy a plastic water after consuming the content, we dispose it. Unknowingly it's a raw material for the other man who knows what to do with it.

Constructing a building with plastics is what I'm still imagining how the inventor came by it. The whole processess starts from : 1.*gathering plentiful of plastic bottles* : *handpicking and gather in a place*. ![image]()
2.*Filling them with sands to extent there's no space available to fold the plastic or shrink it. ![image]() You might also want to employ hands to assist in filling as that may be a bit tedious and time consuming. ![image]() Assembling them over one another. ![image]()
3.*You have the foundation layer already dug. You will need Cement and sand mixed in a 5 x 3 quantity more potent than in the case of using bricks. ![image]() Start setting up the foundation as seen in the above picture.

Begin in any form or pattern you desire, placing each log in a straight line direction and/or progressively in a cross section until peak level.

You might as well consider making ready a skeleton maping out windows and doors. This depends on your preference and style.

image
It is also necessary that you use a straight wood or any object that can act in place to ensure correct lapping.
I'm actually a novice when it comes to construction but I'm only to exert the word creativity.

Below images image explain better.

I see creativity in this. Turning what seems useless to being useful takes a lot of derp thought. It may only seems easy because solution already profounded to the solution.

Ceeative mind is a great mind
It may mean devising solution to a problem through creative thinking.

Thank you for reading.

Hello @bob-elr

Yes but I am concerned that the plastic might become weak after a few yes and the sands leak. Under such situation, how will that be fixed?

@eurogee

I believe from d first picture he displayed. The one with green house, they plastered the whole body with Cement, no one will see d bottle.. That way, it will be difficult for d sand to escape... But I take God beg u, know go try am 4 naija, before amadioha flood come aba carry am..

Yea you got it.

The cement will guard against it even if the plastic got cracked. Plastering would also prevent such.

nice to meet you, I love repurposing what otherwise is considered "trash" by most. I found a nice shelf someone tossed in a bin that I fixed up a bit and use as a plant stand

I wish everyone have this creative idea, the world would be better. Thanks for stopping by.

great post!

Guess, what. I have this plastic house beside my house

Awesome creativity, am glad people are begining to use their talents postively. This will really boost our economy.

Jesus Christ! This is unbelievable! Is this for real?

@eurogee, the possibility of the plastic getting cracked is very subliminal, plastic is very durable and as such won't Crack easily, unless it is a case of malicious damage where someone purposely goes to Crack the plastic.

Is lovely and innovative but won't it colapse in no time

If you take proper measure and brazing it wont.
