Life as an Architect- Day 1.
So today I decided to start a series where I will share my life outside steemit with the steemit community.
This wouldn't be the regular "@arcjen02" who post randomly depending on what interests me for that day. This will be about my daily activities as a designer and planner.
To introduce this series and kick start the movement I will be sharing with the house a progress report of a model I just started.
#Current state of the model.
The model may not be completely ready yet but it have gotten to that stage I can call it presentable.
Project Overview.
The project is to model a already existing complex without the working drawing of the structure.
Process....
Day 1.
On the first day I started with taking photos of the building, designing a landscape plan and then I sketched a building plan for the structure with dimension using the photos as guide so as not to miss physical details of the structure. See photos and plans below...

Day 2.
On the second day I started with the model proper with drawing the plans on the embossed sheet I want to use, then cut them into proper sizes and shapes for the work, install the windows and then pad the shapes with strong boards. See photos below....
materials for today's work
Drawing the plan on embossed sheet
Installing the windows
Assembling the pieces
Next I pad the work with strong boards to make it durable
Next I prepare the work for roofing
Finally the the building are beginning to come alive
This will be all for now.
I will relate the other processes I took in day 3 and 4 before getting the model to its present state.
Thanks for your time.
