How I Spent my Day | 24-02-2025
The long-awaited day finally came when we had to submit our first assessment. I call it the long-awaited because even though we were eligible to submit before now, most of us feel we haven't done enough, and for that reason, we needed to work even more to ensure we come out always with the best.
I woke up, and since I had completely finished the first, I went ahead and uploaded it to Turnitin, which the school recommended so that it could check for plagiarism and AI. Well, because of the citation and the topic used, my similarity came out to about 22%, which, according to the record, was accepted.
Immediately after that, I channelled my effort into working on the second assessment because I hadn't really completed it because it was not easy for me to understand it in the beginning. While working, a friend told me that the said lecturer added an extra week for submission so the pressure I had on the task reduced a bit.
I went ahead to take the task easier and work on it in a more effective way. At the moment I am still working on it with the hope to submit it on or before the end of today since we have opportunities to submit at least 3 times if we are not satisfied with our first submission.
So I decided to rest thereafter from the stress of trying to submit as I took more time to work on the task. I also joined a team of software developers, where I believe I will be able to learn and share my knowledge with others. I am positive that my pursuit of a master's degree in research will go a long way in making me a better educationist in the future.
That was all the activities I did for the day, and that was exactly how I spent my day. I had other activities that I couldn't mention here and others that I planned but didn't achieve as well.
