Hello guys,
I welcome 🤗 you all to my blog. Today I wish to share with you about my first physical lecture in the university of Greater Manchester London. We resumed on the 27th day of January 2025 and we have online lectures on Tuesday and today Friday I had my first physical lecture.
The timetable is a bit flexible and it has to do with much of personal studies hence my attention and focus most often is how I can navigate through the different courses and still keep myself upto date with the latest trend since I'm working on research.
I'm delighted to say here that I'm one of the most privileged Nigerians among my course mates because from their stories today, I noticed most of them are on self sponsored and they went through a lot of process to get to this very point. I'm delighted that my process was seamless and I got all I needed.
As of this day, I hard two lectures slated for 9:00 am and 13:00 pm which are critical insight and research design and methods respectively and it is important to mention here that Professor Iwendi Celestine happens to be one of the lectures taking this very course for me.
Professor Iwendi Celestine is a Nigerian who happens to be the only black distinguished lecturer in the list of the IEEE staff for the 2025/2026 program. It is a great honour on my part to be in the class of this great scholar who is a professor in AI, Computing and IoT among others.
After my first lecture which was on research design and method, myself and a few of my colleagues decided to take pictures and as a Steemian I saw that as an opportunity to keep a memory knowing fully well that it will be useful when writing my article for the day. So the image reminds me about the first physical lecture I had as a person in the university of Greater Manchester.
Also it reminded me of the people I meet during the process and the stories they have shared with me as to how they were able to get to this point without a sponsor. It wasn't an easy task for them and for that reason I continued to appreciate the Governor of Ebonyi state for such an amazing work done for us all.
