Parveen Shakir Sahiba
Greetings!
A student of literature with no loving feelings? No way! Love and emotions are the soul of literature. But let’s be real—life sometimes gives us a schedule so tight that even feelings have to queue up for someone attention.
There than comes a time when you meet someone special. They become your everything. But life, being life, has other plans.
You get busy. You convince yourself that you will take out time for them. And then… poof! They slowly fade into the background, overshadowed by deadlines, errands, and that never-ending to-do list.
Before you know it, you are so caught up in life that you do not even realize how you have mastered the art of time division. And this realization? Oh, it hits you when you least expect it.
This reminds me of our Today poetess, Parveen Shakir Sahiba—who nailed this dilemma perfectly. Her words echo so many of our hearts:
عشق نے سیکھ ہی لی وقت کی تقسیم کہ، اب
وہ مجھے یاد تو آتا ہے، مگر کام کے بعد
May her soul rest in peace 🙏🤲.
(Translation)
"Love has finally learned the division of time.
Now it remembers me, but only after work hours."
Enjoy your week!
