About food.

I am an italian so everyone outside Italy suppose that i am a good cook. I must say i work as a chef assistant sometimes so i can cook.

But i must admit i am not a good cook. My grandmother is a good cook, she is able to cook almost evry food in the world, homemade stuff is her best skill.  Homemade pasta, bread...

She grow up in a big family, 7 brothers just one sister, her. She cooked for all of them and she is able to cook for more than 20 people, she did all the buffet for my mother's wedding. 

I am not able to do that, my biggest skill was cook fot ten friendas at my place, some spaghetti aglio and olio and beans with tomatoes sauce. 

I know how to cook, but cooking is boring most of the time for me, maybe beacause i cook for work, but cooking is not my passion.

Sometimes i like to do it, when i have a lot of free time and that's not happen often, i am doing two jobs for having a normal salary ( Welcome to Italy under economical crisis!!). 

But when i am at home, free i like to cook and baking. I like cook sauces for pasta and i use a lot of vegetables. 

I like using vegetables, i like to cook healthy stuff more than heavy stuff.

About my favorite food i like mostly vegetables, chips, courgettes, spinachs ecc...But i love a simple grilled chicken too or a pasta with ragù sauce.

Ragù is super good. If you do not like ragù you are an evil! 

By the way i learn to cook by myself, my grandmother cook well but she have a bad attitude and she do not like to teach us how to cook, she say " Not annoy me go away" when she cook, so in our family her recipes will be a secret forever, she can not permit us to watch her cook, but she do not do that for keep the secrets of the recipes she only have a weird attitude! 

My grand father often say " I am the only one who can marry such woman" and it's true, he is a very calm man. 

So i learn to cook by myself, i used some books and tv show but i still need to improve my cooking skills!
