Creative Market
Creative Market first began in 2011 as a venture between Aaron Epstein, Chris Williams, and Darius A. Monsef IV. Epstein, Williams, and Monsef were the co-founders of COLOURlovers, a Y Combinator-backed social network service that provides color inspiration for both personal and professional creative projects.The co-founders recognized that COLOUR lovers was in need of a marketplace to help its community members exchange the digital goods they were creating, and hence created Creative Market.

I just started to take over the shop approval process here on Creative Market so I'll give you some information on what I'm considering to maybe help you.
First you need to have an online portfolio - free to use online portfolios like Behance are great! We cannot review applications without a portfolio, or that link items off of a service like Dropbox for security reasons. If we have to download something it is a security risk (could be a virus or other such problematic thing) and therefore won't open these files.
Second it's important to have a strong portfolio of your very best work. I would much rather view a smaller portfolio of overall better work than a large portfolio that is very mixed in quality. When I see a portfolio with very mixed quality it is harder for me to approve that shop because I have no way of knowing if that person will be uploading their very best items, or simply everything they have. It's our goal to showcase and cultivate items that are the very best at what they do, and that go far above and beyond what people might expect from "stock" designs or photography. So feel free to edit down what you're showing us to what you consider to be your best work.
Third we need to make sure that what you're presenting us has a chance at selling on our market. Sometimes we see incredibly talented people apply that focus on something like fine art, but there is no link between what they do and what sells on our marketplace. Take a look at our different sections' popular items and try to figure out if what you create can add something new and interesting to those sections. We want everyone that sells here to have a good experience and have a successful shop, so sometimes a shop can be denied if we cannot see a path for the applying shop to make that happen with the items presented.

Fourth: It can be very helpful to have a diverse portfolio, that is to say that if all you're showing is a large collection of very similar flyer or logo designs, it can be harder for us to try to see how you'll evolve and grow with the market. It's totally fine to have a strong focus in a single aspect of design like flyers or powerpoint presentations, but do try to show a grouping of styles or looks that are visually distinct and interesting. If I see that someone can execute a variety of styles and layouts at a high level, I can have a high level of confidence that they'll continue to produce good work.
Also in general do your best to fill out your user profile as well as you can so that we can get a good sense of who you are and where you're active online. We love to see people who are active in the creative community in one way or another
