Gillbert!

Well I tried to clean Gillbert's tank while talking on the phone today and the end result is not great. I've decided to completely remove the plants to see if that helps. I set the sprouts out on the deck just to see what happens with them. I will probably try to get the water a bit cleaner in a few days after I get a chance to see how quickly the water changes with no plants.

Really had issues keeping the water clean with the last round of sprouts. Not sure what was different about them but seemed like they weren't filtering any of the crud out of the water and then putting more back in on top.

That is some gross green water. I feel bad for Gillbert and really need to find a solution for keeping his habitat clean!
