Family Collection of Antiques

Hey, guys!
Today I want to introduce you to my family collection of antiques!
More than 50 years ago my grandfather started collecting some old keys, toys, clocks. My father also collects old things, he buys them when he travels, he buys them from the people who also collect things or he gets them from the ones who just want to throw them away so they give them to him for free. Sometimes he just finds something valuable on the street - thrown away.
I think this is an interesting hobby, it really sparks our imagination, we always wonder who used to own these things before us, what kind of stories are connected to these objects, who will own them after our generation, will they stay within the family or not.
Most of these objects are really stylish and they bring something classy and mysterious in the house.
Throughout all these year we met many interesting people with their own interesting collections, so we like to listen to the old stories and imagine how life used to be centuries or decades ago. In this modern age we sometimes simply forget that people once lived without electricity, internet...

Today, we have a huge collection of different things.

This is how our house looks like, all around are different things, paintings, figures, sculptures, and a lot of other things. Just take a quick glance and then I'll show you some sorted collections.

Souvenirs from all around the world. They are made of brass, so they are heavy and have some special old time spirit.

Decorative vases - made of brass. People like the gold colour, so that's why people usually find brass and bronze really beautiful.

Old glasses - they look like they were once used in some medieval castle, don't they?

Different types of crosses - it doesn't metter are you religious or not, or what religion you are, they are beautiful and many people collect them and look at them as a piece of art.
