Mike Novogratz regrets that he not sold more bitcoins on Wednesday
The founder of the cryptocurrency company's Galaxy Digital Mike Novogratz admitted that he is stressed by bitcoin.
On Wednesday, the price of the leading cryptocurrency rose by 25%, after which it fell by $2,000 in a few minutes.
In a conversation with CNBC, Novograd said that he sold "a little" bitcoins during the rise, adding that he regrets, as he did not sell more.
"If you had reached perfection, you would have sold a whole bunch yesterday, – he said. – This needs to be done when growth becomes parabolic."
Last month, Novograd predicted that bitcoin will strengthen in the price range of $7,000 – $10,000, while assuming that enthusiastic investors can raise the price of the cryptocurrency above. In a recent interview, he updated his forecast and now expects stagnation between $10,000 and $14,000.
"It was crazy," he added.
