North Korean hackers targeting blockchain and cryptocurrency firms
The Lazarus Group, an alleged North Korean state- patronized hacking group, has refreshed its targeting of adventure capital enterprises and cryptocurrency startups.
The group is swallowed to have been liable for a recent torrent of attacks against media outlets and educational foundations in South Korea, as well as several major banks in the country.
The Lazarus Group has also existed linked to other hacking juggernauts including those on the Sony Pictures Entertainment and Saudi Arabian oil painting company Aramco.
Cybersecurity establishment Kaspersky Lab charted that the group has shown a shaft in exertion since it was revealed last month that Lazarus had been targeting cryptocurrency exchanges. In the last many weeks, it has also targeted fiscal institutes in Japan, South Korea and Switzerland.
