come on man, this happens like every other month... It's crypto!
Well I bought Bitcoin back at $1,200 and don’t recall a 50% drop.
Well, I have seen a 90 % drop in 2013. Anything is possible in crypto. Just HODL!
Wow.... 90 % drop would be very difficult to see
There was no money to evaporate. Most of the market cap was really just appreciation since November 2017.
Hopefully we go down another 50% before we hit bottom.
That would be a great buying opportunity. And it would help rationalize the market to less ridiculous values.
We saw bitcoin jump to 20k. When many cashed out, a lot of that money went into smaller cryptos., causing them to skyrocket. We are seeing the 2nd selloff now - except this time - the funds are being cashed out and not reinvested back in bitcoin. We also had two big stories this week that may have something to do with it: 1) South Korea's crackdown on crypto and 2) that one or two people may have singlehandedly increased BTC from $150 to $1,000 in 2013.
$15-30 fees per bitcoin transaction and 3 days to confirm in many cases is not sustainable. With that said, there's a legit chance that another coin can take over in the near future. Whichever coin that is will lead the way moving forward.
Yes.... I dont even ever use Bitcoin for anything. Litecoin is faster and cheaper.
