The young people are favourable to socialism, but that doesn't mean socialism is a good idea. The young people of the West today are woefully ignorant of reality, haven't been taught a real version of history, and are constantly propagandized. Their opinion isn't worth basing anything on, but this video seems to try.
Also, the author seems to think the West currently operates under capitalism, which clearly isn't true. We have a corrupt cronyism, with a regulated and completely unfree market, prohibition galore, and none of the hallmarks of capitalism other than the name, which nobody believes anymore.
The "capitalism is bad because the USA is messed up and the USA is capitalist" argument falls flat for me.
All the isms are fucked up. The best way forward probably isn't any of the current isms. It's definitely not Marxism.

This is not the first time that cronyism has been explained to me; as if there is a good kind of crapitalism and we have simply veered off course.
In Das Kapital Marx predicts that crapitalism will eat itself in the persuit of profit in a fairly unjudgemental way. That prediction seems to be fufilling itself regardless of what "the young people" think.

Maybe I will need to take a second and check my dictionary to know what is the meaning of Marxism first
At point 25:13 in the clip, if Wolff is not describing the steem blockchain then not sure what he's talking about. 😎
