Hey steemit family! Happy Halloween!!! 🎃 How has everyone's Halloween been?? I went out with the kids for a little bit, but left daddy to the rest so I could rush back home and give out candy.

We usually get trick or treaters up until almost 10 pm so as I write this I'm just on my couch, waiting for them to trickle in. 🍬🍭 And they better hurry, someone's eating all this candy.. 😳 NOTE: I was just visited by Iron Man, Spiderman AND Captain America! The neighborhood is safe tonight!

Last night we made our pumpkins. Better late than never I guess! I have a super fun pumpkin craft to show you. You can still do it even though today is Halloween! Carving/decorating pumpkins is fun no matter the day!

This craft is great if you're not quite ready for your kids to carve pumpkins. My girls have never carved their pumpkins, they've always painted them or used stickers 😀🖌

What you will need:

Hair dryer, crayons, tacky glue and a white pumpkin.

First you wanna take your crayons and soak them in hot water for a few minutes. After this the paper should peel right off. Then you wanna break the crayons in half.

Put some glue on top of the pumpkin, around the stem. Have your kiddo place the crayon halves around the stem however they want.

Once the crayons are placed take the hair dryer and blow straight down on top of the crayons. EVENTUALLY the crayons will melt and start dripping down the sides of the pumpkin. It does take a little time so be patient 😀 I would recommend laying some kind of cover on your floor to protect from not only the dripping wax, bit splatter too! I didn't know it was going to splatter!!

Totally worth it, though.

Cassie helped me with my sugar skull pumpkin and daddy wanted to utilize the crayon method has well.
