Baby Bella's Homecoming Gift Update ~ Giraffe Dream Catcher Wall Art *Original Design ~ Organization & Cleaning Improvise

Good day Steemian's!! I have been working hard on Baby Bella's Homecoming gift as much as I can when I get a break from my stay at home mommy duties. It is taking quite awhile because I can't put my full attention on it to knock it out! Around Tuesday I ran out of wire to finish the frame and had to put all progress on hold until I could get more. Luckily, my Husband came to the rescue and was so kind to get me more yesterday, since the weather has been pretty icky all week and I didn't want to wrestle the Little's out in it.

In the mean time while I was waiting for more wire, I decided to get some cleaning/organization done in my craft chest. I began with organizing some bead and charm supplies I ordered off the internet a few months ago and incorporate them into what I already have. Since it was such a daunting task I had put it on hold for some time now. This is such a great project to take on when you can't do anything outside with freezing temperature, winds, and rain/sleet.


Here is a pile and some close-ups of the new supply. I am so excited to get them incorporated into the rest of my supply to start using them in my work!

First off, I needed to reorganize my boxes to make room for the new. Since I didn't have very much before I had mixed several different color beads into each cubby. Well, now that I have so many colors and various sizes mixing them wasn't going to work anymore. This time I used small jewelry bags to organize them and put several bags into each cubby.

This ended up being a very time consuming job that took the whole day to do in between mommy duties. I knew this would happen, which is why I had put it off for so long. Doing something like this is very hard when you have Little's running around. Wouldn't want any of them to get a hold of these little beads and charms cause it can be harmful since they don't know how to handle the supply yet. If you have a task like this and Little's are around make sure you keep it out of their reach at all times, even when your dealing with the supply. Better safe than sorry :)

To a job well done! The next step is to label the bags with sizes, type, and colors, but first more work needs to be done on Baby Bella's homecoming gift. The rest of the frame shouldn't take me much longer. I can knock it out in a day and begin work on the details. It is turning out great so far and very happy with it. I can't wait to see the end results and share it with you!

Here is my Swarovski crystals collection all cleaned up and organized. Aren't they just stunning?! One of these days I'll need to do a photoshoot of them out of the bags to show off their true glamour. I think that would be a cool and fun project :)

Seeing the bag full of disorganized supply, day after day, was depressing and a little overwhelming. I am SO glad this daunting task is done and over with.... until more new supply is ordered again, haha! Not for awhile, I have enough for now ;) Feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction are in the air with this completion, yay!!
