Diary game season 09: A cool day

Few days, i wrote about a hectic on which my son never allowed me to be productive. Today, the story was different.

As i routinely prepared and took my kids to school, i wondered how i will strike the balance between taking care of my baby and working on macrame. Was wondering what this young boy has in store for me. Will he allow me to work? will i be left on his mercy? Will i be able to reach my dealines today? And so many work_ related questions that make my heart skip. Little did i know that my boy has a compensation plan for me.

After finishing the regular morning chores, i took my shower , bathed my baby. I tried figure out possible things that could make him uncomfortable and kept them at bay. So i tried every possible means to keep him happy and relaxed. So i breastfed him at intervals, chatted with him in our own way and sang many lullibies to him. He was so happy. I told him i wanted to work today, that am seeking his permission and that i will reward him if he does allow me to work.

Guess what? The permission was granted. I kept singing and brestfeeding him, within a short time, he dozed off. I started my work, doing everything hastily, trying to carry every processes along at the same time. At a time i told my ' make haste slowly because trying to do many things at a time is counter‐productive. I stoodup, took a walk to my farm in order to relax my tensed muscles, then i came back.

I had a fresh work to start from scratch. So i got started by bring materials out slowly sailing through the work smoothly until i finished a pair of footwear.

I was like ' is this boy still sleeping or what ?i went and checked him, he was sleeping peaceful even laughing in his dream. Continued my work. He slept peacefully for for 4hours(12:32 ‐4:15) and i was overjoyed.

I decided to stop and think of ways to reward him. So i went and harvest leaves of moringa oleifera, boiling and drinking the water extract boost breastmilk production. I did it so that when he wakes up, he will latch until there is no more want and it happened that way. My kids came back from school drenched with rain, i changed their dresses, kept them warm, prepared dinner, ate and slept around 8:30 pm.
