CPChain (CPC) is a distributed infrastructure for the Internet of Things (IoT). CPChain seeks to combine IoT, blockchain, and distributed encryption storage and computing, bringing about a new generation of IoT. The CPChain will allow different IoT systems to interact with different industry data (i.e. Big Data analysis). Example use case: One IoT system which captures transportation video data can send that information to the CPChain where Big Data analysis can be used to optimize traffic scheduling. By sharing the data across the blockchain, vendors and suppliers can monetize their data.

What we like
CPChain is offering a solution to major architectural issues in IoT. The proposed solution will increase data privacy, reduce connectivity costs, and increase the value of the IoT data. The team has relevant work experience, specifically the co-founders Dr. Long Chengnian and Dr. Zhao Bin. They're well connected in the cryptocurrency space, securing investments/partnerships from Metaverse, HPB, QTUM and VeChain. Although the product has not been launched yet, the team has already completed most of their R&D and entering the implementation stage with a goal to launch version 1.0 of the platform in October 2018. There are millions of IoT devices and billions of transactions happening per second, if CPChain can act as the middleman to help monetize this data, it’ll be a huge success.
What we don't like
There was no public ICO and the private sale had a minimum contribution of 100 ETH. The sale was a mess, they used a standard Ethereum wallet instead of a smart contract. Admins were informing people on Telegram to stop contributing when they reached their max, but had no means of stopping them. They're now individually reaching out to KYC applicants to verify payment and refunding the rest. May be one of the more poorly run ICOs we’ve witnessed. CPChain gained hype because of their strong list of investors. But have yet to show any effort in marketing themselves to the public.
Verdict: Type C Token
Like most other ICOs in recent months we expect CPC to come out of the gate above ICO price. However, without public awareness we don't expect there to be significant buyer support causing the coin to steady at some multiple above ICO (typical in this current market with undervalued projects). As development continues and large investors begin to publicly announce their affiliation with CPChain, we expect to see a slow and steady rise in trade volume and price per token. Blockchain infrastructure and real-world applications have performed well as of late, expect CPChain to follow suit.
Are we investing?
We’ve investing. The strength of the team and huge investment partnerships make this hard to pass up. CPChain has flown under the radar due to their lack of marketing and private ICO sale. We expect to see considerable growth once there is more public awareness. There are no big crypto influencers talking about CPC yet, but we expect once they do this coin could fly. Watch out for CPC once it hits the exchanges.
