Ideas on Lifting COVID-19 Lockdown - Enhanced Community Quarantine
Ideas only.....
Covid-19 will take time to be eradicated until a vaccine becomes available and everyone got vaccinated with it. Otherwise, you may test negative today but it will not guarantee that you won’t get it later.
However, we can’t all afford to be stuck / safe at home in the weeks/months to come. What are some ideas that can be looked at where daily life, business/work can resume, while protecting the people/country?
Some possible ideas that came to mind are:
Mandatory wearing of masks for people going out for work/school/errands. Masks must meet minimum safety standards.
As we passed the 1 month enhanced community quarantine, Testing every 2 weeks after (for everyone or those who go out). Testing can be implemented at Barangay health center (scheduled), government hospital, private clinic/hospital. A negative result can lead to being given a pass to go out up to 2 weeks and verifiable through an app. Info to be provided only is the name, address, contact number, emergency contact person name/number, test result/date taken, profession, workplace or school/address.
Similar to apps in SG/SK, where Geo-location is enabled, someone tested positive will lead to contact tracing of persons encountered (meeting minimum criteria) for monitoring, isolation, quarantine. DICT, DOH, DILG, PNP, DSWD, Privacy Commission, Transportation dept — can be the task force for this.
Companies/school/government offices will encourage work/study from home when possible.
Hospitals/doctors to provide video medical consultation. Lab testing instruction / Medicine prescription be given via email. Doctors, labs, pharmacies must get/use PKI certificate for signing.
I will add more.
What ideas do you have in mind to help us all return to our daily lives while flattening the curve?
